Sun River Properties

Sunriver was built on history. It is situated on the former site of Camp Abbot, a World War II training facility where engineers were trained in a simulated combat environment. The U.S. Army camp opened in 1942, and by June 1944, the camp was abandoned and most of the site was demolished.
